NVIDIA
announces
new

Berlin
2024,
featuring
advanced
AI
capabilities
for
gaming,
content
creation,
and
more.

NVIDIA Unveils New RTX AI PCs at IFA Berlin 2024

At
the
IFA
Berlin
consumer
electronics
and
home
appliances
trade
show
this
week,
NVIDIA
revealed
its
latest
RTX
AI-powered
PCs.
These
systems,
equipped
with
RTX
GPUs
and
neural
processing
units
(NPUs),
are
designed
to
enhance
AI
capabilities
in
gaming,
content
creation,
software
development,
and
academic
fields.

Accelerating
AI

RTX
GPUs,
built
with
specialized
AI
hardware
known
as
Tensor
Cores,
are
capable
of
accelerating
over
600
AI-enabled
games
and
applications.
These
GPUs
are
now
in
the
hands
of
more
than
100
million
users
worldwide.
Since
the
introduction
of
NVIDIA
DLSS,
AI
technology
has
expanded
beyond
gaming
to
include
livestreaming,
content
creation,
productivity,
and
STEM
applications.

AI
involves
complex
mathematical
operations,
which
CPUs
handle
inefficiently
due
to
their
serial
processing
nature.
In
contrast,
GPUs
are
parallel
processors
that
can
perform
multiple
operations
simultaneously.
RTX
GPUs,
with
hundreds
of
Tensor
Cores,
can
accelerate
these
complex
operations,
making
them
ideal
for
demanding
AI
workloads.

Advanced
Processing
Power

NVIDIA’s
influence
in
the
AI
sector
extends
from
data
centers
to
over
100
million
PCs
globally.
The
GeForce
RTX
and
NVIDIA
RTX
GPUs
found
in
various
devices
provide
up
to
686
AI
TOPS
(trillion
operations
per
second).
These
GPUs
enable
top-tier
performance
for
a
wide
range
of
AI
and
generative
AI
applications.

Jon
Allman,
an
industry
analyst
at
Puget
Systems,
noted,
“Many
projects,
especially
within
Windows,
are
built
for
and
expect
to
run
on
NVIDIA
cards.
NVIDIA
GPUs
have
an
advantage
in
terms
of
raw
performance.”
Gamers
can
look
forward
to
AI-enhanced
performance
with
DLSS,
while
creators
can
utilize
AI-accelerated
tools
for
video
and
photo
editing,
asset
generation,
and
more.
