Kong
Monetary
Authority
(HKMA)
has
issued
a
public
warning
regarding
a
fraudulent
social
media
account
that
is
impersonating
Livi
Bank
Limited.
According
to
the
HKMA,
this
fraudulent
account
has
been
reported
to
the
authority
and
poses
a
significant
risk
to
the
public.

In
a

the
HKMA
highlighted
that
the
fraudulent
social
media
account
is
misleading
users
by
pretending
to
be
affiliated
with
Livi
Bank
Limited.

HKMA
urges

legitimate
banks
will
not
send
SMS
or
emails

phone,
email,
or
SMS.

advised

immediately
using
the

Wing
Information
Centre
