Uniswap
(UNI)
Labs,
in
collaboration
with
the
Uniswap
Foundation
and
Cantina,
has
announced
a
groundbreaking
security
competition
for
its
upcoming
v4
release.
The
competition,
featuring
a
$2.35
million
prize
pool,
is
set
to
be
the
largest
in
decentralized
finance
(DeFi)
history,
according
to

Uniswap
Protocol
.

Competition
Details

The
v4
security
competition
will
commence
on
September
4,
2024,
and
run
until
September
30,
2024.
Participants
are
invited
to
submit
vulnerabilities
found
in
the
v4
core
contracts,
periphery
contracts,
and
the
Universal
Router.
The
rewards
will
be
allocated
based
on
the
severity
of
the
discovered
bugs
and
the
quality
of
the
documentation
provided
in
the
submissions.

Scope
and
Participation

The
competition
will
focus
on
reviewing
specific
GitHub
repositories
for
vulnerabilities.
Bugs
found
in
other
smart
contracts
that
pose
a
risk
to
user
funds
should
be
submitted
to
the
Uniswap
bug
bounty
program.

intellectual
property
rights,
to
validate,
mitigate,
and
disclose
the
vulnerability.
Reward
decisions,
including
eligibility
and
amounts,
are
at
the
discretion
of
Uniswap
Labs,
the
Uniswap
Foundation,
and
Cantina.
